Role: Social media marketing and coordination
July - October 2020
Dancewave Through College and Beyond (DTCB) 2020 is Dancewave's 10th annual college fair, co-sponsored with DANCE MAGAZINE. This year's event connected hundreds of dancers with over 50 top, international college programs, including The Juilliard School, USC, and many more. In its 10th year, this college event is being presented as a virtual experience for the first time and is one of the only college fair events to be held this year! As part of the three-person DTCB 2020 team, I worked as a contributing designer, backend website builder, Zoom moderator, and event coordinator.
Contributing Designer & Social Media Strategy
In the months leading up to the DTCB 2020 Event, I was responsible for designing, writing copy and strategizing social media posts for each of the 50+ college programs that participated. I crafted and strategized these social media posts (examples shown through the slideshow below), growing the DTCB Instagram account by 150% in followers in just three months. The instagram account can be found at this link or at the following account handle: @dancewavedtcb

Event Coordination & Collaboration
As an event coordinator, I managed, organized, scheduled, and communicated event details and deadlines with hundreds of program representatives, and built individualized websites and graphics targeted to a digital youth audience. Once this two-week event kicked off, I represented Dancewave by hosting multiple Zoom events, while introducing and managing important timed events. As a Zoom Moderator, I presented different college panels, created a fun, learning ambience via transition music, and answered necessary questions from event participants.
